2021 was such a blessing for my business and creativity, it was a constant reminder of how lucky I am to run my own business and create images for a living. I met so many wonderful people and continued working with clients that have become dear friends over the past few years!

Even though I serve most of Massachusetts, Cape Cod and Southern NH, I usually consider myself a Boston photographer because I’m working in the city so frequently. This year brought me to a lot of new places around the state and I feel like I am constantly becoming a better photographer because of that variety!

I hope that you can feel the love and spirit that went in to making and choosing each of these images. (please note that they are not in any particular order! and that my initial list of favorites was 528 images, so I had to pare down a lot!)

 

In previous years, I mostly shot high school seniors, but I had a lot of fun college grads this year and it was fun exploring some new campuses! This year I shot at UMass Lowell, UMass Boston, Boston University and Harvard for the first time!

I loved this branding session for Glam x Stephanie, she had such a creative concept for her shoot!

I shot my first session on Martha’s Vineyard and got to celebrate with these two on their honeymoon in Edgartown.

This Halloween shoot with the creative folks at Seacoast Stilettos was one of my favorite shoot days of the year.

I’m feeling extra grateful for all my wonderful branding clients this year. I worked with a lot of folks in creative industries and it was fun to see inside each person’s creative process as we shot.

Nina’s branding session was my favorite of the year. Not only did I get to spend the day with one of my best photographer friends, but I got to watch her delight her couples during our styled shoots.

This elopement in Acadia National Park was my second time shooting a wedding in the park, and I fell even more in love with it. I’m hoping to do a few more Acadia elopements in 2022!

Shoots at the beach are by far my favorites, and in all seasons! Summer sessions on Cape Cod, winter and fall sessions on the North Shore; wherever there’s a beach, I’ll be there!

My first niece was born this year and I got to take some sweet photos of her when we visited in May. What a cutie!

Maternity sessions aren’t something I usually offer, but when my influencer clients have the cutest bumps in the world, how can I resist?

Did you know that 55% of my photoshoots took place in Boston in 2021? I love being a Boston photographer because of how much variety our city has for backdrops.
